About Me

I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) and a National Certified Counselor (NCC). I work with adolescents, adults and families. I received my Bachelor’s Degree from Radford University in Psychology.  I received my Masters of Education at North Carolina State University with a concentration in community agencies. 

Prior to joining Fuquay Family Counseling Practices I was an outpatient therapist in the Raleigh area.  I have experience developing and running groups for children and adolescents.  I have also worked with group homes, mental health facilities and schools. 

I have extensive experience in family systems theory and utilize a cognitive behavioral, humanistic, and systems based approach. I will work with you to address the struggles of developmental, psychological, and situational issues that are heightened during different life phases.

I accept Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, United Behavioral Health, Cigna and TriCare. I will also submit claims to any insurance company for out of network services. I accept cash, credit/debit card or a personal check as payment. Please call (919) 995-4588 to schedule an appointment.
